Sunday, Dec 3: Free Day. A surprisingly fluffy HeatBomb aesthetic, pretty much entirely due to the kinder parts of @notsolittlegirlevenmorelost‘s no-powers AU fic “Forget Me Not”.
(Which is not to say “Forget Me Not” is fluffy. No. No. Unhealthy coping mechanisms and fraught relationships alllllll over that fic. Poor everybody. It’s like watching a slow-motion car crash. I recommend.)

Me: sO I HAD THIS THOUGHT LIKE EVEN THOUGH BARRY'S MARRIED TO IRIS AND WE'LL NEVER HAVE BARRAXEL IN THE SHOW LIKE WHAT IF BARRAXEL HAPPENED IN HIGHSCHOOL SO LIKE AXEL AND BARRY ARE EXES AND NOW AXEL WANTS TO KILL BARRY EVEN MORE BECAUSE LIKE IMAGINE BARRY DIDN'T WANNA COME OUT AS BI BECAUSE HE WAS SCARED SO HE DATED THIS ONE GIRL BUT AXEL FOUND OUT THAT'S WHO BARRY TOOK HOME TO MEET HIS PARENTS AND AXEL DECIDED TO ADD IT INTO ONE OF HIS LETTERS TO JAMES AND JAMES NOW KNOWS THE NAME OF BARTHOLOMEW HENRY ALLEN AND WHEN BARRY AND JOE GO TO TALK TO JAMES IN IRON HEIGHTS JAMES REALIZES "THIS IS THE IDIOT-" AND THAT'S WHY JAMES SAYS "HIS SON WORKS FOR THE CCPD" INSTEAD OF "HIS SON IS BARRY ALLEN, BASICALLY A COP." BECAUSE HE DOESN'T WANT AXEL TO KILL ANYONE OR GO CRAZY SO HE KEEPS IT QUIET

“Is no one going to mention the fact that my due date is in two weeks?” Iris grimaced at her coffee. “Damn decaf.”
Barry kissed her forehead. “I wonder what Snart’s up to.”
Iris roller her eyes. “Who cares? Just be glad your wont be dealing with their heists during your paternity leave.”
“Still wanna know what he’s up to.” Barry muttered.
“You can’t win with this one, can you?” Hartley asked Iris.
“Nope.” She shook her head in response.

Because aesthetics are easier than fics:
Hartley Rathaway is recovering from a bad relationship when his friend Cisco turns him on to Rogues Gym and Len Snart’s cool collected demeanour catches his eye immediately.
Axel Walker is all sparks and fury when his lawyer, Laurel Lance gets him community service at Rogues Gym instead of prison time. Mick Rory knows who has his back but he doesn’t expect to care about Axel.
