After the success of Bob High's Trippy Art Show last November, we reached out to local glassblowers, in house artists and talent from the teams, to get involved with our second event. As the snowdrops muster the strength to position themselves upright, weathered patches of blotted grass begin to show signs of recovery. Homegrown was inspired by the fresh, new beginnings that run in tandem with the Spring Equinox. In recognising the difficulties that legalization has created within our communities, we have banded together, made it through the winter and are emerging creatively, in unison and with a spring in our step. For this event, we have invited a selection of prominent glassblowers to exhibit locally handcrafted, artisanal glass. Alongside an array of pieces and a UV light glassware display, several glassblowers will demonstrate the skill involved with the creative process during the event. We have proudly invited in-house, team WEEDS, talent to channel their creativity into a multitude of works, varying across different mediums, styles, textures and themes. The event will be soundtracked by DJ @dare2funk and light refreshments shall be provided throughout the evening. Merch will be sold at the event and pieces will be made available for purchase, so make sure to arrive early before it's all scooped up!
