My sister and I recently tried Trifongo at Mi Candela Puerto Rican Restaurant (3131 Steinway, Astoria). It's mofongo made with sweet and green plantain and yuca. I'd never heard of that before, but it's genius! A touch too sweet for my taste, but definitely worth a try!
