One idea I’m going to encourage is using image descriptions. They are optional and you don’t need to include one, but it is a small step towards content accessibility.
People who are blind or otherwise disabled may not be able to see and comprehend what's going on in your selfies. If you want to write a short description of your image, that would be great! It is not required though, just a suggestion.
Tagging potential triggers is also another way we can be accessible. Tagging words that cause a negative emotional reaction in people with mental illness allows them to block that post using blocking software (Examples of this kind of software include the New X-Kit, Tumblr Savior, and Washboard). This makes it possible for them to enjoy the blog without running into something that’ll be upsetting.
