When I found out my sister's best friend was pregnant I had this idea to get a book for each "event" in the first year of his life and then on his first birthday give them to him. I wanted to jot down a little note in the book about what was going on for each book. I already bought the first one where I will jot down a quick note about finding out about him. Yesterday she was on the walk with us and I was that person touching her stomach (she told me I could) and she said he can hear now so I introduced myself. I told him his parents have good taste in music but whatever they don't play him I will. We also went to this donut place in Providence that well all love but they have vegan donuts and our friend can't have dairy so she loves going there. I ordered a book that mentions donuts and would jot down a note about yesterday in it. Other than that everything else would be a book for the baby shower and then holidays.
Now I'm doubting myself. Is that an annoying thing that you get a bunch of books? I will obviously get a real gift for the first birthday too but didn't know if the book thing was stupid?
