i’m not sure if this is an uncomfortable ask but how would the sanses (particularly dust cause he’s my favourite) comfort or react a reader who does sh?

I’m not uncomfortable per se, I just have to be careful of my own mental state when I do write about it, if that makes any sense? I decided to just go with Dust on this one!
(This is considering Dust catches evidence of SH, but you haven’t told him anything and he hasn’t caught you ‘in the act’ yet.)

He is… unsurprisingly unhappy with this discovery.
Before he says a word to you, he has removed any and all potential dangerous items from the house. Obnoxious levels of safety-proofing. (At this point, you’re used to him doing unusual things for the sake of his own mental health, so you probably won’t question it much. After all, once you’ve accepted the bells above your doors and the complete and utter lack of that one specific kind of steak knife, you’ll accept anything)
He struggles with emotional matters and saying things gently, so expect his browser history to be absolutely filled with research he frantically did while you were sleeping.
He wants you to feel safe, first and foremost. He knows he can come across as judgmental and that is the last thing you need right now.
He, out of everyone, understands how it feels to need to do things that aren’t good for you. He’s determined, more so than you’ve ever seen him, to help you through this.
You’ve held his hand through so much. Let him be there for you now.
