The Law of Anime Quality: As an anime goes on throughout time (t), it increases in quality (N) exponentially until such a point where the limiting resource, fresh ideas, limit the potential of the show and multiple lame side plots are expounded upon and it reaches its carrying capacity (K). The initial growth can be expressed with the formula N(time) = N(initial)e^rt where r = rate of increase. As long as there are fresh ideas and the hero(ine) does not achieve the primary goal, there will be uninhibited growth (ex. FMA Brotherhood, School Rumble, Avatar: the Last Airbender). When the resource of ideas begins to run out, or the hero(ine) achieves their primary goal, the carrying capacity is reached and the show ceases to be awesome. (Ex. Samurai Flamenco, Inu Yasha, Naruto)
