Exhibit 1:
Leaning in the edge of the page? Legendary.
A line dissecting seemingly just a wall to the one he leans onto and the one he looks at? Nice touch.
The look like in anime shows imitating westerns? Very cinematic.
And also oh how freaking pretty this el diablo version of Vash is.
Exhibit 2:
Falling angel and falling Arc. Kinda too used a reference but if it works it works.
Exhibit 3:
It’s 100 just me. The shots are not even that similar. But this frame reminds me personally of my first (and last for years and years) properly gay manga.
And you know what they say about a girl and a trashy book she has read when she was 14.
*also the way Vash’s face changes the very next page? My king of buried emotions.

And then there’s a cute funny chibi but also heartbreakingly sad crying Vash as a cherry on top.
