Do you have or want any tattoos or piercings?
ohhh, man. never really been one for piercings or the like since it’s already a pain in the ass to maintain the ones on my ear lobes as is; even 22 years later, they like trying to close up now and again and it’s the most annoying thing ever!
as far as tattoos go, however? I’ve really been contemplating my first tattoo being the triple goddess symbol from Wiccan theology (as a symbol of my sister-like relationship with two of my childhood friends, one being a long-time bruja), with the maiden moon on the left being replaced by a barong to represent my family’s patriarchal origins and our significance to the flag of Bohol, Philippines. I’ve also wanted to get the image of either a crow or raven somewhere -- preferably in watercolor, just because of its cultural and personal significance to me, especially in my dreams... but that’s a whole set of stories to tell.
What’s your favorite scent?
@rk800writes can attest to how much I love sandalwood. I’m also a big fan of citruses, fresh laundry, lavender, and some kinds of wood smokes.
What is your race/nationality?
proudly Filipino!! though if we wanna get technical, I’m a mixture of native Boholano, Japanese, and Spanish. I’ve been blessed to be born and raised in the United States though while still being able to visit home every few years.
What is your religion?
while my parents and grandparents raised me on Catholocism, my church was very... liberal in many ways as far as their viewings on the religion go. we were one of few blue places in this red hellhole in the middle of Texas that openly allowed members of all appearances and lifestyles which was pretty fucking cool. in general, we were very open-minded and laidback which was probably the best backdrop for a young, confused not-too-sexual person who doesn’t even really classify themselves as a female.
