Trinity (2009) E1 - Charlotte Arc

Antonia played the role of Charlotte Arc in the television series Trinity, which aired on ITV2 in the UK in 2009.

Charlotte Arc is a studious, prudish young woman with a surprisingly fierce and stubborn streak. The story starts on her first day at Trinity, the same prestigious university her father attended - just two weeks after he passed under mysterious circumstances. As Charlotte inquires about her father’s past at Trinity she begins to uncover the university’s dark secrets and gets drawn into a larger conspiracy.

Trinity is kind of a hot mess and Charlotte is an incredibly frustrating character. There are some very talented actors in this putting on great performances despite the terrible writing, and the school itself is full of beautiful sets - and that's about all I can say kindly about it. Still, Antonia manages to make Charlotte fun and charming as the feisty, priggish erudite when the script allows for it.

Note: As Charlotte is a main character in this show and has significant screen time in all 8 episodes of its one season, I'll be posting gifs separately for each episode.

Trinity does not appear to be available for streaming or digital purchase / rental in the U.S. The series is purchasable on DVD.
