@trinkkets that’s some next level denial!  parents can be so frustrating. :/ hilariously enough, my republican accountant father has every melissa etheridge CD, as well as a lot of indigo girls and sarah mclachlan for some reason. who can fathom?? (i want to believe that when his sister came out, he was like “ok, time to RESEARCH!”)

SAME HOLY SHIT. I used to be terrified of fireworks after this huge news story I saw as a child about a firework getting in some kids eye. Now I’m fine with the big professional one, but I HATE sparklers and any small seemingly uncontrollable fireworks

omg ok im glad its not just me??? because wtf ive been hearing those same stories year after year since i can remember!!!! and its just so stupid. ive also been at too many 4th of july celebrations (as a child, mind you) with drunk adults lighting fireworks right next to the house/10 ft away from where me and other ppl are sitting. I HATE SPARKLERS TOO oh my god thank u so much
