my friends have all been so intensely patient and supportive with me as i have been the hottest of hot messes this whole month as i go through this period of transition and figure my life out, i don’t have the time to list even a fourth of all the unbelievably nice things they’ve done to encourage and comfort me 😭 everyone has honestly just been so gentle with me and i legit don’t know how to deal with it or thank them.

thank you, that means a lot 😭 it was a decision that was a long time coming, with a lot of tears and uncertainty along the way, but i seriously can already see a difference in how i think about myself and about the future, like it is real and possible and actually might be good.  

maybe someday i will regret not just sticking it out and gritting my teeth and getting the degree, but honestly?  i don’t think i will.  i’m a different person than i was when i started, and i’ve realized it’s just not something i want anymore.

Not to sound cheesy but the resilience of my heart. When I was younger my stepdad who i was really close to gave me a letter when he and my mom split up and there’s one line that’s stuck with me almost a decade later: “Make sure you never lose the love and warmth that are such a big part of you” and idk i just try to hold onto those words and work really hard to not let people and situations change my heart

Fall or spring! I dont like the extremes of summer and winter bc winter is brutal where i live even though i love snow aesthetically and i can’t handle the heat i turn into a puddle of sweat
