Surrounded the transport with cars, pushed him off the highway into the shoulder lane. . The intercept was intense and frustrating. A situation met immediately with aggression - Chinese activists trying the take the load before they reached the edge of Yulin. . In the end the stand off broke, with activist numbers overpowering the driver. All the dogs have been loaded onto our transport and are safe. On route to our shelter in Changsha. . Two of the dogs had microchips, a Golden Retriver and a Terrier. Proof that dogs are being kidnapped and stolen for the festival. . A number of those on board were already dead, with some of the surviving injured. We have a full medical response team waiting at our shelter.
