I disagree. It's my belief that Sticker Star is in fact a bad game all together for many reasons, if not only because the battle system is broken. Without story, battling is the most important aspect of the game, and since there is no EXP system in place, you get nothing but stickers from battles(which you can buy and pick up on your own). You're better off avoiding each enemy(a.k.a. avoiding playing the game).
hopefragment said: The real bad thing about Sticker Star isn't the lack of story per say. (to me it is, because I prefer my games to have stories) But the fact that the battle system is horribly flawed. Battles except for the bosses are completely pointless because all you get is coins, you must use up stickers to fight, and you can get coins anyway by not even battling, and you use the coins to get stickers. (just putting that out there)
but I still think if you’re a diehard fan and want to play Sticker Star, you shouldn’t let a bunch of ppl’s bad opinions stop you?? It’s objectively Not A Great Game but, hey, maybe you’ll enjoy it
((and as a huge fan of SPM, anon, the biggest thing you should keep in mind is that Sticker Star completely lacks a story, and as these guys said, doesn’t offer a lot gameplay-wise to make up for that))
