SHINee “Hard”
There are some nice melodies, and bits and pieces of the instrumental are innovative, but overall I think SM trying to push that NCT sound onto SHINee is just not working for the group. The chorus is just terrible, the bridge was nice.
Yena “Wicked Love”
Yena is not much of a vocalist, so her solo career relying on catchy songs is no surprise, but this track takes a different direction, it’s much darker and performance oriented, but she makes it work.
tripleS +(KR)ystal Eyes “Touch+”
This is straight up pop-music from 1998, I never liked that sound and just because it’s nostalgic I’m not going to like it more. There are some switchups throughout the song to make the track less boring and one note, but it’s just not my cup of tea.
