your answer might just be a link to something you’ve already posted but i’m trying to give myself a bare-minimum type of to do list for when i’m most depressed (brush teeth, drink water, eat, feed pets, take meds, etc) do you have any advice for what to include on it? i’m trying to not start out too ambitious so i don’t disappoint myself if i can’t do everything but i feel like my list is missing a lot of important stuff ya know? thanks!
Hey! I actually don’t have a post about this already but I definitely should! Things that I can think of to include, in no particular order:
1. Take your medications
2. Feed, water, and walk pets (or change litter or cage bedding)
3. Use mouthwash if brushing is too much
4. Do a PTA rag bath. That’s using a warm rag or baby wipes to clean your pits, tits, and ass. That’s what we called them growing up!
5. Stay hydrated with whatever you feel like drinking. I feel like some people don’t like water and if you don’t like water, it might be too much to add flavoring or whatever to make it drinkable so just drink whatever. It’s more important to stay hydrated.
6. Change your underwear
7. If you have lots of hair or thicker hair, just pulling it back off your face can be amazing. Nothing fancy, just pull it back and wrap it in a hair tie.
8. Eat something. It can be anything, just eat something. Sustenance is important.
