so here are some pics from Athens^^

we started with the temple of Zeus but couldn’t come close so this is all we got. We were told it was the biggest temple, but it sadly collapsed :/
then we went on to the museum where I took pictures of lots of pottery XD (we actually went to 2 different museums so there’s a mix in content here lol)

me with.. the caryatid. They have such beautiful braids.

something that I found of interest completly unrelated to the parthenon ;P
kore and kourous ie. young (unmarried woman) or a maiden, which is one of Persephone's epithets. and a young man. They were funerary statues if I understood correctly.

the other museum we went to had a beautiful garden inside.

we passed by Dionysus theater.

next day we went to see the Olympic stadium as well ^^ we sat in the important people chairs XDDD It was a blast! <3
