🌺CHAPTER 5 DAILY LIFE🌺
After the deaths of QB and NEET, a power vacuum formed in the cast. Quick to fill that role was none other than Mathlete. Continuing his rise to leadership, as he no longer faced any real opposition. With this power, enlisted more mandatory meetup times, with threats of severe punishments for whomever didn’t show. Many students brushed this off as an empty threat, but still agreed to the meetings to avoid conflict.
Meanwhile, mascot and tattoo artist formed a pact to pose as guards for one another. They had closely bonded in their short friendship, mostly due to their social isolation from the other cast members.
Mascot spotted another odd pairing as well while wandering the halls, eyeing thief and ??? quietly speaking in a clothing shop. She reported this unnerving discovery to tattoo artist, both fearing that the two mysterious girls were planning something sinister.
Mascot opted not to tell Mathlete about the discovery, as he would most likely react poorly to the news.
As the days passed, mathlete and lucky student continued to enforce their law on the students, under the notion of protecting them. Along the way they recruited the timid zookeeper, who seemed to have joined them out of fear of being alone.
The largest friend group remaining in the game was the 5 girls who nearly never left eachothers’ sides, those being: Trivia master, Pyro technician, Fashion designer, Matchmaker and Nail artist. Their survival also could be attributed to their ability to avoid conflict, as all of them were very compliant with any new rules.
Theorist still spent nearly all hours to himself, paging through dozens of books at the library. He clearly had been shaken by the body count, and believed isolating and collecting information was his best chance at survival. When approached by other students he often shot their attempts at conversation down, even those who he’d previously been friendly with, such as trivia master.
With 4 days passed and no murder, the cast nervously awaited their motive. And sure enough, as the 5th morning began, they were assembled to the food court for an announcement.
Monokuma eagerly informed the group that things would be heating up this chapter, literally. The thermostats were cranked to unbearable heat, with the promise of cool air with the arrival of another corpse.
While most of the cast had a negative reaction to the development, Pyro and Fashion designer offered up a solution to lighten the tension, a pool trip.
Once again nearly every student agreed to join, with the exclusion of mathlete, lucky student, zookeeper and theorist.
Over the following days, the cast spent most of their time split between two places. The first, of course, being the pool. Here the students tried to forget about their predicament. The second location was a walk in freezer, located behind the food court in the kitchen area. They wouldn’t stay for long though, as students usually just stepped in for a minute or two to cool off.
The cast dressed down this chapter, most adorning their swimwear all day to beat the heat. Mathlete took issue with this, seeing it as indecent and irresponsible. He believed that this kind of outfit displayed too much potential vulnerability when murder was on the table. The only cast members to comply with his complaint were the group of 5 girls, (Trivia, Pyro, Fashion designer, matchmaker, and nail artist) who didn’t want to butt heads with the clearly unstable mathlete. They adorned thin dresses to avoid conflict while still keeping cool.
On the other hand, skateboarder, lifeguard and rockstar were much less accepting of the critique. They responded at first by laughing it off, calling mathlete a kill-joy and a prude. Mathlete didn’t take this opposition lightly though, suddenly demanding that the group dress to his standards. For the first time in the game, the group of boys became confrontational, whether it be due to the heat or the authoritarian assertion made by mathlete. It quickly became clear that this was no longer an issue of wardrobe, but of power.
Thief stepped in to defuse the situation by siding with skateboarder and threatening mathlete, pushing him to walk off in a fit of frustration, taking lucky student and zookeeper with him.
With tensions once again high, the group split apart yet again to spend their day with their friends.
Mascot and tattoo artist avoided the pool that day, knowing that conflict would most likely arise between mathlete and skateboarder yet again. They opted to spend the majority of their day wandering the halls, chatting about their lives before the killing games.
Suddenly, as they passed the food court, a visibly shaken rockstar sprinted up to them. He said that something was very wrong with the freezer, explaining that the outside handle had been busted off, leaving the door shut.
As the three of them entered the kitchen, they were greeted by skateboarder and lifeguard. The three of them had clearly just come from the pool, as their hair was still wet. Oddly though, the kitchen floor was also soaked. Puddles of water dotted the area, leading to the industrial sink. Blood muddied the water, turning it a pale pink. There was clearly something waiting for them in the freezer.
Unable to open the hatch, the five students rushed to find thief to aid them.
Finding her with ??? in the same clothing store as before, they led the two girls back to the freezer. After 2 minutes of fiddling with the door, thief was able to get it open. Inside laid two corpses.
I bet Patrick would conquer every trivia game out there.
let's see, Dimaris when fighting Tokage the first time because his ability is weakness and Tokage couldn't adapt to the fight so he had to retreat their second round Tokage won by re-quipping and adapting to the weakness magic and won using scarlet fire dragon's true sword horn
