people thought it was a risk because it was a musical i guess? the entire movie was very underwhelming honestly, you expect this 14 time Oscar nominated movie to be much better than it was. the only thing that really got me during the movie was the cinematography was beautiful but the rest was very lack luster.

movie musicals are made all the time and musicals are on broadway all the time and those tv musicals that fox and nbc have been doing are being made all the time ........................... ain’t no risk here dude lol
