Maybe it's my fever talking, but I was HOOKED. An unexpected slow burn, and a perfect example of finding someone that matches your freak.

I went in so freaking blind- almost immediately find out what the title means and was hooked! I mean, that is just so cute.

And the yearn! 4 years- you're killing me Rowan. Sure we timeskipped a lot, but to them it was slowburn. I don't think they kissed until like 60%, so that is slow burn anyway right?

I'm sick so some of the gore made me a bit nauseous, like the mandolin. 🤢 ouchie

Also I wrote my review before reading the last bonus chapter with their wedding. And if it wasn't already, it would've made it a 5. I have no complaints.

It hooked well. The idea is original (atleast to me). Rowan is a yearny boy but knows how to control. He is basically a dark Ali Hazelwood man, or atleast everything I love in a Hazelwood man with the added morally grey.

And I liked Sloane's flighty nature but equal yearn. It all just felt good. 5/5, I said what I said.
