Cassandra - My favorite figure from Greek Mythology. Legend tell that a serpent whispered in Cassandras ear, bestowing upon her the gift of prophecy. But it spat in her mouth, and so she was cursed that no one would believe her prophesies, though they where true. How infuriating it must have been to be right, to foresee disaster but no one would listen to you? When Cassandra saw the Trojan horse, she picked up a battleaxe herself, when no one would believe her warnings, and charge the thing, meaning to destroy it herself, but she was held back.
