An old staple. Im getting better at making these. Needed that little win as the rest of the day has been rough. Tried to make a nail again and failed... again... But I failed better this time. Also failed at making a buckler and overfill my quench bucket, making a mess. Its important to know when to step away, not every day will be great and we must know how to handle that.

Troll crosses offer protection from evil but not, as the owner of this one unfortunately discovered, from morally ambiguous annoyances. Like, say, the kind of minor faery that insists on being referred to as “dashing highwaygoblin Rose o’ Roads.”

What would you cover iron with to make it rust proof? I want to make a troll cross amulet with a piece of black tourmaline in it but I'm always worried about iron rusting.
