Ryan Murphy is like the annoying childhood 'friend' who didn't know how to play nice and would play too rough and/or break your shit and you really really disliked him but your parents (Glee apologists) would keep setting up play dates and inviting them over because the friend was "such a nice, clever boy" and you didn't have the vocabulary for it then, but you do now and the word you're looking for is douchebag.  That kid was just a douchebag.
