Another problem of Toby Pie being a Trollhunter amulet wielder is:

In the beginning Jim and Tobs survived and were not killed by Bular straight away only because there was personally involved Stricklander. He liked Jim, he was his favorite student. So Strickler did his best to prolong Jim’s live and negotiate somehow (until it started affecting his morals). It gave Jim time to do some learning and reveal some mysteries.

And who’s Toby to Strickler? Eh nobody. Lonely orphan with shady semi demented granma. Two people will notice if he disappears. Kill him asap Bilar and bring eternal night to rule humans! What a plot twist right? Even earlier meeting with Barbara won’t fix it.

I kept trying to envision what Jim would look like as a troll (well, half troll), so here it is.  Kind of a crappy drawing, I know. 

I keep thinking Jim would end up tall and slender (not bulky, like most trolls, but not crazy slim like changlings).  Tanned rocky skin, black or even teal hair that would extend and brush his shoulders.  Four or six blue eyes, and four arms like his uncle Blinky :)

Love this series!  If you haven’t checked it out, I’d highly recommend it.
