Throwback to kicking it with my old friend, n most excellent artist, @luke_brown_spectraleyes at @boomfestivalofficial in Portugal last year. I wanted to clear the air on some stuff, cause some people took some words of mine the wrong way and created drama where there wasn't any. Seems like when I get honest about how I feel on some controversial stuff, my haters n all kinds of trolls come out to feed, haha. Anyways, a couple days ago I made a comment (erased by now) on an insta pic of a new beautiful painting Luke had made. Because of an old forgotten incident we had back in 2004, it had triggered some old emotions in me. I really wasn't so big of a deal to me, so a comment on the pic seemed enough for me to express my feelings. Luke understands my point of view, but other people who don't know our back story took it as if I was actually mad, and a big-ego hater, trying to cockblock a spiritual truth. I didn't even read 75% of the later comments of that thread, cause I'm too sensitive to read insults from people who don't know me, and I was just getting over the hurt I got from the haters of my "why I'm quitting weed" post. Looking back I repent on making my comment publicly, I never imagined anybody but Luke would of read it, and I can understand how it might of looked like I was trying to own the #peelingbodies concept, which I'm not. I already apologized to him personally, and he gets it. For those who want to create drama over how I talk to an old friend, please get a better hobby. Luke rocks and his art for years has inspired me to work harder on my own. We're way different, but very aligned spiritually, so our mutual reflection helps us learn about ourselves n grow. I soon will be in Vienna, Austria teaching the 2nd half of the Trimester we are tag-team teaching at the @academyofvisionaryart .
