Some of you know that I associate Rook with snakes. So I tried to make him look like a Naga and I like it. Btw. Many peoples have a tradition: to treat snakes with milk and honey. They decided therefore to appease the snakes so they do not sting humans. I imagined a scene where the character tastes honey and spits in disgust. :D Please do not try to feed snakes with these products. About the piece with tail grabbing: I don't know the diminutive form of the word "Snake". So I would translate it as "What a cuuuute snaaake...". ;D Mayertis (OC) © Mayertis-Not-A-User Rook, Pix ("Tron: Integration") © ReverendTek

I originally wanted to make a humorous mini-comic. But then the plot changed sharply and we can see Rook and Sark, discussing something (Mayertis and Koeda are too wrapped up in showdown to hear that). So there's a little example of Mayertis' attack (of course with more softer effect). Rook, Koeda ("Tron: Integration") © ReverendTek
Rook ("Tron: Integration") © ReverendTek Artwork © Mayertis I was thinking of Rook's possible animal form when I saw him first time. So I suppose there's a snake - its flexible body covered with black shiny scales. Why Coluber (eastern racer)? This animal looks pretty scary and seems to be dangerous but, exactly, it's non-poisonous. In mythology, the snake symbolizes knowledge, rebirth and spiritual renewal. In Christian tradition, this animal represents sin. The serpent tempted Adam and Eve to taste a fruit from the Tree of knowledge of good and evil. A very vivid image of a Snake belongs to Pavel Bazhov and his tales. There the snake (called "Poloz" in Russian) is positioned as a wise and great character, at a glance able to read people's desires: greed, greed or vice versa, kindness and complacency. Please forgive me. I didn't want to disappoint you, Sark.
I was always happy to hear you say, "I'm proud of you."
The first thing you taught me was loyalty to the MCP. And while I hated the torture that passed from you to me even trough the connection barrier, I'm so happy to serve shoulder to shoulder with you so to be like you. I liked to hide my nature in spite of some difficulties. I liked being your secret. And - as I'd say in "real world" - your family.
You are the living flame that broke the darkness. You're the one who gave me a new name when I couldn't remember my own.
...
I know: You wanted me to stay safe so I could use my powers later. But I still regret that I obeyed that your command.
...
And now I see you after many cycles of separation. I'm so happy to feel your warm energy aura like before... But what's that odd feeling? I feel the MCP is extremely close but I can't see him here. ...And... I want to be his weapon again. This "security program" Tron and his friends were ruined the whole System. I remember you fought bravely even despite Flynn's cheating. They are real monsters. But the rest of programs believe these null-units are heroes! This time, I don't want to stand by while the fight goes on.
Let's finish this insanity and win the game.
