Trope-Off Round Two: Final Report

It’s that time again!!

Trope-Off round two is DONE! 

Our winner is…… ENEMIES TO LOVERS!!!

I’ve put together a spreadsheet with the full results and the full final standings from each round, and you can VIEW THAT HERE

A total of 3,845 votes were cast over 51 battles.

I didn’t make a prediction this time around, but I will say I’m not super surprised by the standings! Did you guess it right?

In a GENUINELY BIZARRE TWIST (I swear to god, this was not on purpose, I didn’t even pick this month’s trope) our winner also happens to be April’s trope of the month over on @stonytropewatch​, so if you want to celebrate our Trope-Off winner, submitting fics, art, recs, meta etc to trope watch is a great way to do it! (March was also Arranged Marriage, and Feb was Found Family... maybe I did, in my own way, make a prediction hahaha).

Steve wakes up in a new world, in 2008, and joins the Avengers where he finally gets to meet the man whose name has been imprinted on his skin since birth. But Tony Stark is closed-off, distant, and disinterested. While Steve is trying to come to grips with finding out his soulmate doesn’t want him, he can’t help but notice the decline of Tony’s health. Worried about his heart after the arc reactor, Steve steps up to help him, but when Tony confesses what’s really wrong, it’s not at all what Steve expected.

I can’t believe it’s over!

Our winner is...... MUTUAL PINING!!!

A total of 4,698 votes were cast over 50 battles. 

Back at the beginning, I made my prediction that the final battle would be Mutual Pining vs Hurt/Comfort and Mutual Pining would win. WELL I was half right and half wrong but I did predict the final winner! Did you?
