As the years wear on, their soldiers return from battle fewer and fewer in number, and the graves multiply overnight. Running out of options and manpower, their last chance is proposing an alliance with the King of Telmar, a kingdom seemly just barely allied with the Witch and itching to get out from under her power. Susan walks into the meeting with the King with Edmund at her side and little hope left in her heart, and leaves with an alliance that could turn the tide of the war - and a husband.

In order to better relations with the Dragon Lands, Twilight has been arranged to marry the current dragon lord, Ember. With her friends by her side, she's excited for the big day, even if she's nervous at the prospect of not meeting her fiancee yet. When she finally does, things seem to go well, spurning on her excitement. At least, going well for now.

Her AI-driven system has turned the ancient art of matchmaking into a commercialized, mechanized, streamlined, and extremely successful, enterprise. Octavia's already found and lost the great love of her life. She's not looking to love again. But an accident, a chance meeting, and a high-stakes bet change all of her plans. Now she'll either find her match, or spend years of her life providing fairy tales for others, while she proves that chemistry, passion, and spark can never be forced into being by a machine.

And we’re back for Round Three of our Multi-Chapter TROPED Challenge! We got FIVE (5!!!) incredible fics for the FINAL ROUND, and we are so excited to see how our Tropesters handled the curveball we threw at them (and what obstacles they picked out for themselves), and to see how these incredible stories have ended!
This round, since it is the final round, we ahve included a few additional polls! It’s the FINAL CHAPTER! Tropesters, it’s time to write Chapter Three!!! You’ve written the beginning of your Arranged Marriage, the second-act breakup, and now it’s time for the grande finale!!!! Please be sure to post your third chapter as a third chapter of your original fic, to include all of the tropes (the one we chose and the ones you choose), to stick to your theme, and to have fun!!
For Round Three, please write us a chapter that includes:

Trope Bouquet: Select two (2) tropes per round from the list below. You can, of course, choose more than two, but only the first three tropes (1 pre-selected + 2 trope bouquet) you list will be included for voting. You will choose two new tropes from the Trope Bouquet each round so don’t use them all at once!!! Be sure to chose two different tropes from what you selected in Round 1 & Round 2.
