Tropfest is an Australian short film festival, all submissions have to be under 7 mins and have to be made for Tropfest. This is Y2Gay, made in 2011.

The creation of this was motivated by the Australian Federal Government allowing LGBTQ+ couples to enter into civil unions. In the film, this sends Mick (Nick Mattick) back down into his Y2K bunker, to hide from what is surely the harbinger of the end of the world – the queer community. With his wife Sharon (Kate Worsley), and his best mate Gary (David McLaughlin).
