The Satyr had been unprepared for such a vicious, unexpected assault and folded easily. Sarian nodded in approval at the bodies, leaving the mess for the druids to cleanse. The active demonic presence had diminished, but there was still something. Sarian frowned. She'd marked her targets carefully, and they were all accounted for. She closed her eyes for a moment, reaching out with her magic.
She spun and levelled her staff at the demon just as it moved out from behind the tree and revealed itself. The warlock raised an eyebrow. It was tall, apparently masculine (very masculine) and with deep, almost purple skin. Combined with his black hair and long ears, he almost looked Kaldorei. But she'd known of only one Kaldorei with legs ending in hooves, elegantly spiralling horns and vestigial wings. He almost looked…. Like an incubus. Sarian's guard was up, a shackling spell just at the tips of her fingers while the demon stared at her but made no move. Then he slowly took a step to her, advancing til her staff was a finger's width shy of his chest. He was tall, the staff tip level with his solar plexus. And then he kneeled, full on his knees, leaning back to keep the staff out of his face. Utterly vulnerable, he stared up at her with burning blue eyes. When he spoke, it was in Common and took her utterly by surprise.
She blinked at him once, standing regal. "Explain yourself." His gaze was still unmoving, his chest moving shallowly as his hands gripped his thighs.
"Let me be your servant. Allow me to wait on you." he responded, voice dark and liquid.
"And I can expect no battle to win a contract with you?" Sarian asked, her other eyebrow raising to join the first. Demons offering free deals were always trouble lurking.
