[Mini Event] Rogue Affections
Everything in the human world was so different from Equestria. It was both amazing and confusing, but she was generally excited about it. The fact that she was taken against her will was something she was not happy about. But it was an interesting place full of interesting and strange people, so there was just a huge potential and wealth of knowledge that she otherwise wouldn't have ever known about. The humans at Canterlot High were one thing, but there were so many different people in this city.
Even the bugs seemed different. She wasn't sure what their migratory pattern was or why they were around even though there was still ice on the ground. But she had to admit, they were kind of adorable. She'd never seen anything like them, aside from normal ladybugs. But the heart pattern was fairly endearing. Maybe there was a book she could read on them. Yeah, that was probably the next best step to take. Anything could be fixed by a good old visit to a library. And, to be quite honest, anything that got her out of the disgusting sector she had to call home now was a good thing.
Before she left on her trip, she made sure to pack what she needed in her backpack. Of course, her owl tagged along this time too, perched on her shoulder. Though, making it through the swarms of bugs proved annoying and difficult. Was there really a reason they needed to do that? And were they biting people? She sighed and held her arms in front of her face as she boarded the train, glad to have at least some reprieve from the storm of bugs.
Though upon reaching sector five, it was out into the fray again. She figured she was faring very well, all things considered, as she hadn't been bit yet. That was until she felt the tell tale sting of a bug bite on her leg then another on her arm.
“Sweet Celestia that hurt...” She muttered to herself, swatting away the bugs before glancing up at someone. Someone who, suddenly, made her heart skip a beat and caused her face to flush. Had she even met her before? No. But wow did she suddenly need her to be in her life. But was she just supposed to approach her? She wasn't sure how to handle herself, she was so awkward when it came to things like this.
A deep breath in and she took a step forward to go speak to her. Unfortunately for her, she forgot she was on the last step of a stair case and as luck would have it her legs flew out from beneath her. Limbs flew as she tumbled the rest of the way down, landing directly in front of the girl in question. Twilight sat on her knees, face red with embarrassment, as her pet fluttered back down to perch on her head. A wonderful opening to a first encounter.
“H-hey...” The princess let out a nervous laugh, rubbing the back of her head with a hand. “I, uh, I'm not entirely sure how this is even remotely possible, but...I think I might be in love with you.” She blurted it out, glancing off to the side and covering her mouth with her hands. “I mean...would you like to do something with me? Maybe...I was just on my way to the library but...” A hand moved to slap herself in the face. She was really doing a great job here.
