Now that we all know Sharkboy and Lavagirl have a kid, I think it’s time to bring back this cursed post I saw on someone’s Instagram story
Sharkboy and Lavagirl took place in the same universe as spy kids and you can't convince me otherwise no cap.
I’m waiting for Robert Rodriguez to make a movie called “Spies,” which ties the events of the Spy Kids series into the Machete series
Danny Trejo plays the same character in both series, lovable Uncle Q who gives the kids all their crazy spy gadgets, who happens to be a grindhouse exploitation mercenary with a body count in the double digits. The eponymous spy kids are now spy adults, late 20s early 30s, and Rodriguez is known for making over the top schlock that is gratuitous and fun at the same time (not necessarily good, just fun)
“Spies” would see the adult Juni and Carmen join their Uncle Machete on one of his mercenary missions; he’s getting too old for this shit, so passes the torch onto them, only it’s a literal torch and they use it to set fire to the cartel’s base of operations before shooting up the place.
There will be tons of CGI gore effects, extensive use of green screens, enough swears to make Quentin ‘Foot Fetish’ Tarantino blush with shame, and the most blatant disregard for the laws of physics ever put to film.
That’s just how Robert Rodriguez rolls.
It would almost certainly suck, but it would be one hell of a sight to behold

Song: Fleetwood Mac - The Chain. Here is my fan music video edit I have created to tribute Robert Rodriguez’s (@rodriguez) Spy Kids. Starring @vegaalexa and @darylsabara as Carmen and Juni Cortez. Hope you guys enjoy it. Thanks to the guardians of the galaxy 2 movie to give me the inspiration and imagination to work on this edit. Do you guys know that Disney used to own Miramax and Dimension films movies? I do not own the song and the movie. All Rights Reserved to Warner Bros., Miramax Corp, Troublemaker studios.
