If I control Athreos, God of the Dead and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and my Blood Artist dies, which effect triggers first?
Both abilities will trigger simultaneously, but since you control both of them, you get to choose the order in which they go on the stack and resolve.
(Also, Athreos is the God of Passage. Erebos is the God of the Dead. He might get mad if you try to give his title to a lesser god.)
Does a facedown morph creature receive the buff from a Muraganda Petroglyphs?
Yes.
It’s a colorless, nameless, typeless 2/2 with no abilities, so it can be buffed by Petroglyphs.
If I activate Stitcher Geralf and mill an Eldarzi Titan, Worldspine Wurm, Darksteel Colossus, or other creature with a shuffle into your library trigger, does Geralf's ability resolve before the shuffle trigger?
The entirety of Geralf’s ability resolves before the triggers go on the stack. You can exile Emrakul or Worldspine Wurm or the like for the ability.
Note that Darksteel Colossus, Blightsteel Colossus, and Progenitus have replacement effects and not triggers, so they’ll be shuffled back immediately.
Looking for your opinion as an aspiring new judge, is Starfield of Nyx going to cause as many headaches as Opalescence/Humility? I'm sure some people are going to try some Godhead of Awe/Starfield Modern shenanigans. Is the rules interaction similar to the legacy combo, or was it retemplated somehow to fix some of layers hyper complexity?
Starfield interacts the same way with Humility that Opalescence does as long as you have enough enchantments, sorry.
Starfield with Godhead is just down to timestamps, luckily.
Does a Hydra's mana cost change to the amount paid to cast it while it is on the stack? (For Disdainful Stroke and the like.)
Yes.
X has whatever value was chosen for it when you cast the spell for as long as it’s on the stack.
