It truly is the end of the era. On Friday, we put on one of the best shows I have ever been a part of as we said farewell to a great man. Mark Scott stepped down after 30 years of being a teacher, a mentor and a friend. Twelve years ago, Renee Kollar-Bachman invited me to come to RBV. Not only did it change my life, but it gave me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of so many others. So it was with a heavy heart that I made the decision to step away from the program as well. At the end of the night, after the commotion had died down and the goodbyes were said, the three of us stood on that stage one last time knowing that it was over. I could not possibly love these two anymore than I do and I will forever be grateful for the shows, the laughs, the tears and most importantly, the friendships. RBV Drama made me a better person and I am thankful for everyone who was a part of that journey. You will always have a special place in my heart. @rbvdrama #goodbye #farewell #musicdirector #honorarythespian #troupe4556 (at Rancho Buena Vista Drama) https://www.instagram.com/p/ByjIr5-hl9d/?igshid=2wghs8uedhhj
