two (2) (II) things: 1) icarus and his stupid dad were pretty technologically limited so whatever stupid height he even got with his stupid wax wings was like a rounding error in terms of distance from the sun. like difference between distance from minos to the sun vs distance from 500 feet above minos to the sun is sooo tiny c) i think that with the benefit of thousands of years of human development, i am just capable of more hubris than icarus. like fully and completely i just have more of it. it's not close!! i'm tired of pretending it *is* close. in conclusion: both technologically and spiritually, i am capable of flying SO mcuh closer to the sun that stupid idiot kid
