Trows, from Andrew Paciorek's Strange Lands, Supernatural Creatures of the Celtic Otherworld
“. . . It should be noted that in the nineteenth Shetland Isles, where Norse culture prevailed, it was thought that at Hallowmas “the trows came out from their fastness and wreaked havoc among the cattle and crops in the yard.”
—Ronald Hutton, Stations of the Sun
A not-very-good photo of some sketches I just did of grown-up!Hirume and Trow.
I remain middling at this and I still cannot do anime properly to save my life, but I think this captures what I was going for with them in Revolution for Beginners...
Original anime versions below for reference. I kind of messed up Trow's eyebrows, but in my defence, they tend to be animated slightly different from his character design (and this fits slightly better with the 'grew up to be like Shino' vibe I was going for).
The first half of the playable races have been revealed. But what'd you make a character of, if based on visuals alone?

Among many of the professions the sibling trio tried out to earn a living, as orphans - and this one was even legal… mostly - were as entertainers. Mihaya would hawk, then play the drums, maybe even sing the male part of a folk tone. Torou played the flute, sang backup vocals, and then stole a tambourine at some point. Shirayuki did main vocals, and played the lute.
They even traveled with a troupe for a time. Gee I wonder if they met anyone during that time.
