hrggg you give me a choice between HanaNene and ObaMitsu, Rico says yes. I couldn’t choose, they’re both so cute! this one didn’t specify non-tickling or tickling so i included a little bit in both ships, hope you don’t mind! also pspsps i love kataang as well, they were my first otp and i love them to bits. I’m putting the headcanons under the cut for this one since there’s two and I don’t want it to be too long! enjoy~!
Obanai and Mitsuri:
- Obanai always shows his love for Mitsuri in subtle ways, and Valentine’s day is no different
- He can be so subtle, in fact, that Mitsuri doesn’t even realize that he’s done something for her
- He’s shy, he can’t help it, but he also can’t help how much he loves her which is why he puts so much care into what he does for her
- He knows how much she loves sweets so he went to the best dessert place he could find and got her lots of dango and sakura mochi, her favorite sweets
- He also writes her a love poem, a long one that he spends a lot of time on
- When all of his preparations for her are ready he sets them up under a wisteria tree, specifically the wisteria tree that they met under
- He goes to get Mitsuri, covering her eyes as she giggles, gasping when Obanai reveals the beautiful array of treats underneath their special tree
- She hugs him so quickly that they both go tumbling down, Misturi ending up on top of Obanai as she kisses his cheeks over and over until Obanai is pushing her away, blushing madly
- “Why are you pushing me away?” “It’s embarrassing…”
- Mitsuri laughs, then gets a devious smirk on her lips “Not as embarrassing as… this!”
- She starts to tickle Obanai’s ribs as he immediately starts giggling beneath her, pushing gently at her hands so as not to hurt her
- She laughs with him as she reduces him to a blushing, giggling mess and finally lets up, kissing him once more, this time directly on his lips over his mask
- He covers his face in embarrassment and pushes Mitsuri off of him, Mitsuri laughing until he’s on top of her, pulling his mask down as he presses a soft kiss against her lips, this time flustering her
- “Iguro! That’s embarrassing!”
- He chuckles and gets off of her, putting his mask back up as he shuffles over to the picnic he has set up, where he watches her enjoy the food, both of them talking about this and that as she finishes, sitting next to each other with Mitsuri’s head on Obanai’s shoulder as they admire the wisteria
- Eventually night falls and the fireflies come out, and Mitsuri catches one, admiring it as Obanai leans over to watch as it flies out of her hands into the night sky
- He cups Mitsuri’s cheek and expresses how much he loves her once more as she giggles, leaning into his hand and pressing a kiss against the palm, saying she feels the same
- They spend the rest of the night there, admiring the fireflies that light up the wisteria in each other’s arms
Hanako and Yashiro:
- Their relationship is still very new by Valentine’s day, and they’re quite flustered as they try to make plans
- Yashiro remembers the last time she gave veggies to her crush in an attempt to woo him and has sworn to never do it again
- So instead, she’s been working on growing some flowers at home, specifically so Hanako can’t see
- She’s also made him a card, a heart shaped one with glued on lace and a sweet message inside that makes her blush knowing that Hanako is going to read it
- Meanwhile, Hanako’s completely flustered on what to do
- He has limited resources since he’s stuck at the school and he hasn’t experienced Valentine’s day in years, especially with someone
- He goes to Kou, and practically throws himself on him, whining and asking for advice
- After Kou pushes him off he explains that Yashiro is the type of girl who’ll look forward to Valentine’s day more than her own birthday and that Hanako should take that into account when planning for her
- He thinks as hard as he can and finally comes up with an idea
- They meet up in the bathroom, Yashiro blushing with her small bouquet of flowers and her card behind her back as she looks at Hanako expectantly
- Hanako grins and pulls out a piece of paper and hands it to Yashiro
- At first she thinks it’s a heartfelt poem, or a love letter, and is surprised when instead it reads “Get out of jail free card! No cleaning the bathroom for one week! Love, Hanako”
- Yashiro shows no expression as she reads it, and she quickly sets it on the ground along with her gifts for Hanako
- “Are those for me?!” He exclaims, floating over to see before Yashiro tackles him to the ground, her hands immediately digging into his sides as he shrieks with laughter
- “That’s not a Valentine’s gift! If you were gonna do coupons do the ones that are actually cute!” She says, scribbling her fingers all over Hanako’s tummy as he flails around, cackling loudly
- She finally lets up and sighs, dusting herself off as she puts her hands on her hips, staring at the panting Hanako as she lectures him in proper gift giving
- He apologizes, saying it’s his first Valentine’s with someone he loves, and they both immediately freeze because Hanako said the L word
- Yashiro blushes and Hanako blushes and they both cover their faces before Yashiro finally grabs her gifts and practically throws them at Hanako
- He puts them to the side as Yashiro’s still covering her face and pulls her hands away, kissing her softly on the lips
- She freezes, but melts into it, and they kiss for a few moments before Hanako finally pulls away, chuckling
- “That was our first real kiss I think,” And Yashiro nods, completely speechless
- He opens her gifts and gives her a hug, and even though their faces are red and hot, they still hold each other in an embrace, and will likely stay that way for a while
