I’ve got #Grasshopper truing up the adapter plate that will mate the @MartinTrunnionTables #Stallion Trunnion to the Haas rotary axis. This is a imperative process to perform AFTER the spindle nose taper has been machined in, simply because it ensures that the #Trunnion mounts #TrueAndSquare to the rotary axis, and the axis of the machine. ( !!! ) If you’ve ever mounted a Trunnion and had issues with it running true, or being “sprung”, this is one of the first areas to interrogate - #TheInterface I want this table to run true and do so without ANY binding or flexing.
