London 2017!!!

Just met my class for our last on ground class. We’re off to London on Monday and I am beyond excited. Our travel manager, Jeremy and my former London student, Jordan Causey joined us to talk about safety and traveling in London. We’ll be visiting previous favorites like Spectrum Radio and Al Jazeera and heading to new (to the trip) organizations like Global Radio. We’ll also be making a stop at the BBC to see the newsroom.

Eastern Michigan University Education First

For Eastern students/alumni/other interested parties. This link is the starting point for study abroad courses at EMU. My students and I will heading to London at the end of April to experience journalism.

Some places we’ll visit: BBC, Al Jazeera, Spectrum Radio and The London School of Communication. We’ll also learn about the culture of the city, as well as visit some major landmarks like: Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace.
