I decided to watch a documentary series on First Australians and when I got to the Tasmania episode. Dear Fucking God. What Indigenous Tasmanians went through...my hatred and disdain for colonization couldn't be cemented more. Content Warning: For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, particularly Aboriginal Tasmanians this video depicts those that have passed. This video also talks about colonial trauma and the extremely violent and genocidal nature of antiblack colonialism in Tasmania. The Nightingale is a movie that also depicts a bit of what happened (It is an extremely violent movie, depicting violent antiblackness, misogyny and rape. So content warning on that too.). They mostly just talk about it here but it is immeasurably heartbreaking and terrifying what these people went through.

When  people think of Midnight Oil i guess first song that come to mind is Beds are Burning. Truganini is a song from 1993 album Earth and Sun and Moon and if you ask me, that album is just as good as Diesel and Dust from 1987 👍
