he cannot remember exactly when he collapsed - but probably shortly after he heard of what had happened to da vinci ( did his knees give up due to grief or due to relief that the master and some of the crew could escape? ).

however when he does wake up he understands that he is no longer in chaldea. sitting up from the bed, the doctor walks around the room, carefully trying to open any windows or doors - of course not. that would have been just a little bit too easy. so instead he sits back down and simply listens - listens to the place around him. he can hear the wind howl and he is certain that the outside world must be cold. 

he sits there for hours until the door opens. despite the situation, romani offers the young man walking in a warm smile. “I am glad you seem well... and I am sorry that I wasn’t around to wake you up.” looking at kadoc, romani gestures towards the door “your guards talk. they called me solomon when I woke up. did wodime figure it out after looking at chaldea’s data?”

Name: Kacper

Gender: Male

General appearance: Light brown hair, tall & lean build, soft & roundish face .

Personality: Kind & determined - growing up with two dads that are both have a very specific kind of stubbornness has made him extremely determined - at the same time he never lost his kindness over it, he is quite unable to be someone who kicks others down & rather helps them reach their goal too.

Special talents: He’s rather talented with several instruments & he has a knack for animals.

Who they like better: Equally, but his music taste aligns more with Kadoc & because he absolutely adores music he’s more often found gushing about it to him.

Who they take after more: Probably a tiny bit more Romani until music comes up.

Personal headcanon: He was adopted by them when he was still very small. He has no magical abilities what so ever but that’s fine by them. They have not told him who they used to be - about Chaldea, about the lostbelts or that Romani is King Solomon but he does kind of realize that his dads are a bit more than they admit to be.

Arms loosely wrapping around the master’s shoulders and his chin comes to rest atop Ritsuka’s head. A sigh, though, muffled, was drawn from the crypter, “…Just don’t ask, alright…” cause honestly, if he was asked for his reasoning, he would be more than embarrassed.

     RITSUKA was currently holed up in his room, filling out the latest mission report as it was important to keep record of their journey so far. He certainly didn’t mind having to do it since it was a breeze compared to having to go out in the front lines and he was almost done anyways. He could finally rest when this was all finished. 

     Without realizing it, he ended up quite engrossed in his work to the point that he didn’t notice anyone entering his room until a pair of familiar arms wrapped around his shoulders. He blinked, surprised that he was snapped out of his focus. Mashu ... ? No, wait. He turned his head over to meet the culprit of affection and to his surprise, it was Kadoc. Just as he was ready to question what this was about, he was immediately silenced by the Crypter’s request and was just left sitting there, awkwardly accepting the embrace. It probably wasn’t a good idea to tease him as usual, huh ... ? 

     His cheeks took on a pink hue and he cast his gaze back to his reports, mentally scrambling to find the words to ease the tension but maybe it was better to just take it as it was. He eventually surrendered with a bashful smile and gently rested a hand atop of the other’s. 

     ❛ ... I guess I’ve been gone awhile, huh ? Well, I won’t be going anywhere for now so you can hug me to your hearts’ content. ❜ He laughed and leaned back against the other. ❛ ... You can stay here for as long as you want too. It’s nice ... being with you like this.  ❜
