Hiiii back for more yapping SKSMWKSNAO one thing I LOVE about Veilguard (that did make me emotional I'm gonna be honest) is that it got me into creating again?????? I was a freelance artist but the last 2 to 3 years have been really bad personally, I did stuff because I had to and fell out of art as a job and as a hobby, now I'm planning stuff for TWO art events in here??? I think about drawing my Rook and go fuck yessssss I love this, and also want to go back to original projects I had??? I want to work again and take commissions because it's fun again??? I'm writing FANFIC after ELEVEN YEARS?????????? This game saved me

Dragon Age has pulled, I think, 100k words of fanfiction from my bones in the last year alone. This fall, it healed my relationship with writing. Veilguard only adds to that.

And any art that inspires more art has done its job, in my opinion. <3

hey friends! i have two more prompts to get to (probably posted tomorrow) and then i’m getting back to some more free writing with the Silver Bullets crew!!!! and, if anyone has ideas or is interested in seeing things (don’t worry: annie x brady reunion along with more kennedy x bucky is on the list!) i’m happy for more of that if people are curious :) with more free time now that the semester is done, im happy to do those sorts of things!!!! 🫶

thank you more than anything for all the recent support! the Silver Bullets crew has been an escape from reality a bit in terms of writing and has allowed me to focus on small victories with prompts and pieces rather than something larger and harder to manage. so truly, THANK YOU!!!!!! :)

ok on the real though as a 24 year old mentally ill bisexual man.....i related to quentin coldwater more deeply than i have related to a fictional character in a long, long time. and it was so validating and refreshing, i had really forgotten what that felt like—seeing someone so close to you, you know?

and now.....hoo boy. that shit......hurted. a real roundhouse kick to the chest that just instantly smashed all my bones to smithereens. knowing that’s how it ends....it just taints the whole thing, muddies any positivity it ever made me feel.
