Sometimes I wish I'd saved this paper I wrote for my Film and Lit classes about V For Vendetta, Watchmen, and their uses of silhouettes, masks, and shadows. You probably would have loved it and/or told me everything I got wrong. I've probably told you that before but your Rorschach with a Peanuts Christmas tree post reminded me of it.

Unpopular opinion: John Hughes movies aren't as great as everyone seems to think. Like, any of them.

I think they’re a different nostalgia and just not for me. Course it doesn’t help that I now associate the only thing I liked about The Breakfast Club, “Don’t You Forget About Me” (and that’s more Futurama than anything), is now tainted for reasons.
