Hello Everyone! I’m Skye! I am 18 years old and a lover of American Girl dolls! I have been collecting them since the age of 11 and received my first for Christmas of 2014! This blog is meant to not only share the photos I take of them (This one was taken in June) but also to tell their stories! As someone who is part of the LGBTQ community, someone who has a disability, as well as someone who has a complicated family life, I realize that stories can not always be told with a limitation of 2200 characters. That’s why I created this Tumblr blog to share my dolls stories with you all! Sprinkled throughout their stories is my own! I will be posting my current doll stories as well as some future character ideas I have in mind! To me, my dolls are simply physical representations of the characters I create. Therefore, there may not always be a doll photo for every post! Especially since I write a wide array of characters from different cultures and my doll collection, admittedly, is not the most diverse.
