Blind Criminal Prowl x Escape artist Jazz p. 11

(At Blaster's hub. This takes place after p.7 when Jazz checks on Prowl. Blaster and Jazz have a talk.)

Jazz: I'm in too deep... Blaster: You saying that makes me worried for my safety. Jazz: If anything It's my safety and... I why did I take that job? Why? Blaster: Jazz? What is going on? Tell me I'm your friend. Jazz: You know how I get curious about things, right? Blaster: Yeah, I do. Couldn't keep your servos out of other bot's subspaces, even if it would save your life. Jazz: Yeah, well I... I don't want to put you in danger, yer my friend but you're probably the only one I can talk to about this.

Blaster: You got involved with Decepticons? Jazz: Uh, no. Too violent. Blaster: Well clearly you aren't okay. And got involved with something far beyond you. Jazz: I meet somebot. Blaster: I'll listen you talk. Jazz: ... At first I followed them out of pity and curiosity not really caring what happened to them. But the more I learned about them and talk with them. I saw, I felt a level of trust with them... Blaster: Are you pausing for me to ask questions or you just thinking? Jazz: I really don't know, the level of trust they give me through their actions is just overwhelming. I feel like I'ma gonna fall into a endless pit if I give that same level of trust back... Blaster: You're scared you're gonna get hurt again or betrayed again. That's normal Jazz. Jazz: Yeah, but that's not the difficult part. There is this weird feeling of wanting to open up and give that trust to them. And the moment I do, I feel like I'ma gonna lose everything. Including them... Blaster: Okay, quick question. Why do they trust you? Jazz: ...mmmh... Because I'm reliable and a good mech? Blaster: Okay so they find trust in bots who take care of them, listen to the, that are reliable. Now, what do you find trustworthy in somebot? Jazz: Somebot who isn't easily fooled. Someone who will remember things. Who actually listens to exactly I say. Who doesn't force me to become something. Blaster: So, are they? Jazz: I... Yes they are. Blaster: I'm happy you found somebot you can rely on. Jazz: Yeah, now I just need to make sure I don't lose them. Previous - Next
