Guys Help I Just Realized Something Today About Davos

He is basically Trusty John from folklore.

But this being ASoIaF, if he dies he's not coming back. He's already had his death faked TWICE by GRRM. I am terrified that the third time's gonna stick.

Excuse me while I dream up a fairy tale AU where Davos is the Trusty John character and Stannis is the King and IDK Mel is the Queen or maybe Dany either way it works and the story is pretty much the same and Davos is saved and everything's happiness and a threesome.

So like how I imagine the original fairy tale, basically.

(Come on, you don't sacrifice your children for some servant you just really appreciated. I am just saying. Best of all the Queen is up for it too!)
