HIIIIII I DID THE @creatingblackcharacters DTIYS!!!! saw it when it got posted and immediately had a vision so I rlly wanted to do it :D

if it looks rushed that’s cause it kinda is I wanted it done by the end of this week and school was trying to kill me with homework so 😭😭 BUT ITS DONE NOW SO A SHORT YAP ABT MY CHOICES!! ⬇️⬇️

- the hairstyle is heavily inspired by low from little nightmares 3, bc that’s who I first thought of when I thought of a human Elmo :3

- overalls / socks are supposed to look like Elmo himself (w/ the one orange stripe in the middle representing his nose)

- sweater underneath was inspired by the doll/plush thing Elmo holds in the image used on the cbc dtiys itself (here)

- the blocky-ish hands r supposed to look like Elmo’s hands on the puppet! :D

And that’s abt it.. some additional doodles under the cut of other characters :3

so side note I never watched Sesame Street as a kid but whenever I saw big bird I just kinda assumed he was an adult. Bc of the name and the height (like eight feet tall btw). THEN I LOOKED IT UP AT HES 6 1/2 YEARS OLD????? HUH

So that’s why he looks older in the doodle I did him in…. Cause I thought he was an adult in the show.. I was halfway through doodling him when I looked it up 😭😭
