I was inspired by THIS fic written by @onedragonsnotes that was in turn inspired by @pronouns-d-ace 's Viridescent Daydream PV army. I do hope you two don't mind the @'s I just wanted to make sure people knew where to go and that credit is given where it's due!!! I just couldn't keep this little continuation in my head, and what was supposed to be a very short little drabble 1000 words or less turned into double that. I hope people enjoy!

Can the Recluse see out of the eyes on his wings?

Recluse: The closest thing I can relate it to is...selective listening. Your ears are hearing everything around you, but your brain only decides to focus on or can only intake so much at once. The eyes on my wings-and the one on my crown-all function, but selectively. I can alternate where I put that focus to have a clearer understanding of my surroundings.

That being said, when I'm not focusing on them, they react subconsciously to my thoughts and things that catch their interest...Which can make it difficult to mask my emotions completely.

When Reclus found out who Sage really was, was he disappointed? Confused? Is he angry that he lied to him?

Sage: My recluse was beyond understanding, and since then, we've tried to be a bit more open with one-another...For as much as we need to be. I am eternally grateful to him and do my best to show my appreciation every moment I can!

Recluse: Sage...Must you speak your inner thoughts so loudly?

does the Sage show any signs of his past isolation from his time as the Fount?

Recluse: It's not often these days, but when he first started living here (I assume shortly after he escaped from the Tower), he would sit for hours at a time, seemingly staring at nothing...He tells me he was 'listening'. For who or what he hasn't shared with me, but I don't intend to pry.

Normally when he secludes himself, I allow him to have some time before I go check on him and just...sit with him for a while. I just hope to be there for him as best I can--as he has for me.

So… when did you two officially get together?

Sage: Well I suppose if one were counting, it would be...a few months? I have known the Recluse for just over a year, and while he was quite callous at first, I noticed subtle changes in his behavior that indicated his impression of me was changing. Having never experienced much in the way of 'relationships' aside from my retainers and what semblance of 'care' I could glean from my mother, it took me quite some time before I realized that these might be signs of "affection".

Thankfully my Recluse was very patient with me and, when I finally came to my senses (with the help of some wise council from Star Moonstone Faerie) I asked if I could properly court him-and he agreed!!

Recluse: Relationships in my past have been...difficult. Not bad, nor was I treated poorly, just complicated. But with the Sage things are just...simple. The emotions I'd buried for so long and tried to forget have resurfaced little by little. I'm not one to believe that all the world is rosy, and we aren't without our differences, but I've felt happy for the first time since my departure. I am...very fortunate to have him in my life.
