Obligatory gallery of some of my favorite Art Deco South Beach buildings.
What’s wild is what’s changed to Ocean Drive--the iconic road was closed to traffic during the pandemic to allow for more space for outdoor dining, and now they’ve changed it to only allow driving in one direction and there are gates that restrict access. There’s a big debate over whether to allow cars back on it or not, but at least for the day we were walking around, we barely saw any cars and the huge bike lane looked really nice.
