The hedgehog just stared as the man in front of him tried to show off. Normally, he’d at least humor the guy, but when the poor shmuck ended up slipping and falling flat on his back due to, of all things, a plastic bag flying through the air on a gust of wind and suddenly enveloping his head, Sonic couldn’t help but pity the poor guy. That was some bad luck. “Uh, you okay, buddy? That looked like it hurt.”
Sigma really thought he needed to impress Sonic. This was the legendary Sonic The Hedgehog, after all! The lightning-fast blue blur who had saved the world multiple times! And Sigma, no matter how levelheaded he tried to portray himself, couldn’t help but feel a little jealous - he had saved the world, too. But because all his work happened in underground bunkers and hidden shelters, he hadn’t made the TV news like Sonic had. That was totally unfair.
So, he was about to launch into a spiel about the nature of human consciousness, when, out of nowhere, a plastic bag covered his face, and he fell backwards, landing with a hard THUD on the pavement.
“Bwehh...” His face was safe - the bag had blown away in the wind, just as quickly as it had arrived - but he had totally bruised his tailbone.
